
Fisher Cats set six attendance records in 2009

Manchester, NH- Tonight's crowd of 5,125 at the New Hampshire Fisher Cats' regular season home finale at Merchantsauto.com Stadium against the Portland Sea Dogs brought the season total to a franchise record 386,991, good for an average of 5,608 per opening, also an all-time high. Those were two of an astounding six team attendance marks set during the season and continued the organization's attendance growth for a sixth consecutive season.
"We can never say thank you enough to the greatest fans in baseball for their strong support, and we also want to express our appreciation to all the staff members for their commitment to serving our guests this season," said Fisher Cats President Rick Brenner. "Our plans will immediately turn toward planning for 2010 where our goal, as always, will be to continue improving our guests' experience."
Here is a breakdown of the six attendance marks established during the 2009 record-breaking season:
Single Season Attendance: 386,991 (2009) Previous Record: 373,227 (2008)
Per-Game Average: 5,608 (2009) Previous Record: 5,332 (2008)
Single Game: 8,903 (5/26/09) Previous Record: 8,762* (7/16/08)
