CURVE, Pa. - He has reached almost rock star status, he has been featured in the Altoona Curve's new home hats as a reversible rally cap and now, Curve mascot Al Tuna will be on hand tonight at Blair County Ballpark to debut a new look.

Since it's the first Friday game of the season, the Curve in honor of Lent, will show off the new and improved look for their lovable rally fish at tonight's 6:30 p.m. game against the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Al Tuna can be seen around the ballpark but really shines when the Curve score a run as he pops out of the center field wall to celebrate.

"We unveiled so many new things over the past five months, that we thought we'd save the new Al Tuna for our lone Friday home game in Lent," said Curve General Manager Rob Egan. "He'll be the only fish in the ballpark that isn't on the menu tonight."

The Curve will also host a fish fry at the ballpark thanks to US Foodservice. For $4.00, fans can enjoy a basket of fish sticks over a bed of fries. The fish fry will be located in concession stand #3 on the lower concourse at Blair County Ballpark.

Also appearing at Blair County Ballpark will be Pittsburgh Steelers' Linebacker Lawrence Timmons, thanks to Peoples Natural Gas and WTAJ-TV. Timmons will be on hand to participate in pregame festivities, including throwing out a first pitch and will sign autographs on the concourse for fans for two hours during the game.
