BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce a roster move today. RHP Oliver Drake was transferred to Bowie from class Single-A Frederick. With the move, the Baysox have 24 active players on their 24-man roster.
Drake made one start for the Keys this season, logging five innings and allowing two runs, both unearned. He allowed the runs on two hits and a walk while striking out three batters. Last year, Drake appeared in 24 games for the Keys, including 21 starts, going 6-6 with a 4.36 ERA over 128 innings. He walked 37 batters in the 2010 campaign while striking out 100.
