Familiar Faces Return to Clones

Cincinnati, OH-Cincinnati Cyclones coach and general manager Chris Cichocki has announced the addition of four former Cyclones to this season's roster. Mike Casselman, who spent the 1996-97, 97-98 and 2002-03 seasons in Cincinnati will be back for his fourth season as a Cyclone. Jason Norrie, Garrett Prosofsky and John Campbell have also agreed to terms after playing last season in Cincinnati.

Casselman will be playing his 13th season of pro hockey. Casselman has played 761 pro games recording 247 goals and 448 assists for 695 points. Casselman played three NHL games for the Florida Panters during the 1995-96 season. Last season, Casselman recorded 16 goals and 37 assists for 53 points in 61 games in Cincinnati.

Jason Norrie was acquired by Cincinnati last spring in a trade with the Baton Rouge Kingfish. In 20 games in a Cyclones uniform, Norrie scored four goals and added nine assists for 13 points. Norrie is entering his sixth season in pro hockey. Over 337 career games, Norrie has 72 goals and 98 assists for 170 points with 1,017 penalty minutes.

Garrett Prosofsky split last season between Cincinnati and the American Hockey League (AHL) 's Cleveland Barons. In 23 games with the Clones, Prosofsky accumulated eight goals and eight assists for 16 points.

John Campbell returns for a second season as a Cyclone. Last year, Campbell played 33 games in Cincinnati recording three goals and six assists for nine points.
