Upcoming week of October 6th - October 12th:
Monday, October 6th - The sixth annual Condors Invitational Charity Golf Tournament presented by 1410 AM KERN, A Plus Plumbing, Heaint & Air and Chicago Title to benefit the Boy & Girls Club of Bakersfield takes place today at Rio Bravo Country Club. The tournament kicks off at 11:00 am with a post-tournament banquet to follow at 6:00 pm.
Saturday, October 11th - Cal, the baby Condor will be the parade Marshal at the HEARTS Connection's Annual Harvest Festival Parade at 12:00 pm. The parade will be held Shriner's Noble Park located at the corner of Belle Terrace and P Street.
Saturday, October 11th â Real Rock 104.3 and the Holiday Inn Select present a Pre-season special as the Condors host the expansion Las Vegas Wranglers at Centennial Garden at 7:00 pm with the doors opening at 6:00 pm. Tickets for the pre-season game are just $10.00 for lower level and $5.00 for upper level seating. Tickets can be purchased at the Centennial Garden box office, open weekdays from 10:00 am â 6:00 pm with extended hours on event days. Tickets may also be purchased by phone through Ticketmaster at 322-2525, online at www.ticketmaster.com or at any Ticketmaster location.
Week in Review:
Sunday, October 5th - The Condors held their annual Open House & Family Day, presented by KGET-TV 17. The Open House was the first chance for the public to see the team practice, get team autographs, as well as skate with the Condors. Admission to the Open House was free with a donation of two non-perishable food items to the Golden Empire Gleaners with 1,100 pounds of goods being donated.
