
IceGators add Chuchelov to roster on day two

Lafayette, LA â The Louisiana IceGators added forward Andress Chuchelov to their training camp roster, head coach and vice president of hockey operations Dave Farrish announced Monday. Chuchelov, who went through this morning's 10 a.m. practice session at the Louisiana HockeyPlex in Carencro, puts the IceGators' training camp roster at 15.
Chuchelov is attending his second North American training camp, having done the same with Pensacola in 2001-02. The 6-foot, 195-pound 27-year-old has spent his pro career in Russia after playing collegiately in the United States at Vermont and Utah.
The IceGators will get two more practice days in the HockeyPlex before one day in the Cajundome (Thursday), followed by two exhibition games in Pensacola.
IceGators weekly practice schedule:
Tuesday, 10/7 â 10-11:30, Louisiana HockeyPlex
Wednesday, 10/8 â 10-11:30, Louisiana HockeyPlex
Thursday, 10/9 â 10-11:30, Cajundome, Depart for Pensacola, 1 p.m.
Friday, 10/10 â Pre-game skate in Pensacola, game at 7:05 p.m.
Saturday, 10/11 â Pre-game skate in Pensacola, game at 7:05 p.m.
Sunday, 10/12 â TBA All IceGators practices are open to the public.
Louisiana opens the season at Mississippi on Friday, Oct. 17, at 7:35 p.m., before the Sea Wolves make a return trip for the IceGators' home opener Saturday, Oct. 18 at 7:05 p.m. Individual tickets, starting at just $10 for adults and $9 for kids (ages 2-12 in any level) are now on sale at the Cajundome Box Office and Ticketmaster outlets. Opening Night will feature a Chris Valicevic jersey retirement ceremony. Full season ticket packages, half season plans and Ice Packs are also on sale now and can be purchased by calling (337) 234-4423. Full season packages start at just $288, while children ages 4-12 can have season tickets for only $225 in any level, including rink side, with an adult purchase.
