Fallon Named Goaltender of the Week

Las Vegas, NV- The ECHL announced today that Las Vegas Wranglers© netminder Joe Fallon has been named the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week for January 17-23.

Fallon, 25, was 2-0-0 with one shutout, a goals-against average of 1.50 and a save percentage of .938 last week to assist the Wranglers in improving their record to a league-best 25-11-3 for 53 points and a five-point lead over Stockton in the Pacific Division.

Fallon began the week with 20 saves in a 4-0 shutout victory against the Alaska Aces on Tuesday and then made 25 saves in a 5-3 win over the Bakersfield Condors on Friday.

A native of Bemidji, MN, Fallon has appeared in 21 games for the Wranglers this season, earning a 13-7-0 record that includes two shutouts. He is currently fourth in the ECHL with a 2.43 goals-against average and is tied for fourth with a .918 save percentage.

The Las Vegas Wranglers© are the ECHL affiliate to the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes and the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage.
