Jackals Complete Another Deal with Gladiators

Elmira Jackals News Release
The Elmira Jackals announced on Tuesday that they have acquired the rights to defenseman Matt Krug from the Gwinnett Gladiators in exchange for forward Dustin Cameron. Krug has been assigned to Elmira by the AHL's Chicago Wolves.
Krug has three goals and four assists for seven points this season and has 67 penalty minutes to lead Gladiator defensemen.
In his rookie season of 2009-2010, Krug led Muskegon Lumberjacks (IHL) defensemen with 47 points while tying for the team's blue-line lead with 14 goals. Krug led the Lumberjacks with 209 penalty minutes.
The Livonia, Michigan native spent his first three collegiate seasons from 2005-2008 at Wayne State University, collecting 34 points (10g-24a) along with 232 penalty minutes. Following the termination of Wayne State's program after his junior season, Krug played his senior year at Robert Morris University, totaling nine points (4g-5a) and 56 penalty minutes.
