FRESNO, Calif. – It's raining teddy bears at Save Mart Center!!

The Fresno Falcons will hold their fourth annual Teddy Bear Toss during their game on Friday, Dec. 12, at 7 p.m. against the Long Beach Ice Dogs. Fans are encouraged to bring brand new teddy bears and stuffed animals to the game and toss them onto the ice when the Falcons score their first goal. Fans will receive a voucher for a free ticket to an upcoming Falcons game for each stuffed animal they bring to the game on the 12th.

Last year Falcons fans showered the players down on the ice with more than 3,000 stuffed animals, and the team is looking to shatter that mark. The Falcons will donate the teddy bears and stuffed animals from this season's toss to Community Medical Center and Fresno Child Abuse Prevention.

Fresno plays its next game on Friday, Dec. 5, at Bakersfield against the Condors before returning to Save Mart Center for a five-game home stand beginning on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m. when they host the Alaska Aces.

Individual game tickets are on sale beginning as low as $8 at the Save Mart Center box office. Tickets can also be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, which include select Save Mart Supermarkets, Rite Aid, Tower Records and Ritmo Latino locations, charged by phone at 485-TIXS or bought online by clicking the Ticketmaster icon throughout www.fresnofalcons.com.
