Falcons Sign Kevin Croxton

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that they have signed right wing Kevin Croxton to an Amateur Tryout Agreement (ATO). Croxton is expected to practice with the Falcons this weekend and make his debut next week with Springfield.

Croxton recently finished his collegiate career with RPI University where he was team captain during his senior season. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound native of Calgary, Alberta collected 14 goals and 25 assists for 39 points in 31 games this year with RPI. Croxton led RPI in scoring the last three seasons.

In Croxton's four seasons with RPI, he finished his collegiate career with 57 goals and 86 assists for 143 points in 147 career games. Croxton was an ECAC Second-Team All-Star in 2004 was a member of the ECAC All-Rookie Team in 2003.

The Falcons return to action this weekend for three games when they travel to Hartford on Friday and Lowell on Saturday night. Springfield returns home to host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Sunday, March 26 at 4:05 PM. All games can be heard live on the Falcons Hockey Network, WMAS AM 1450, as "The Voice" of the Falcons John Michael handles the play-by-play duties. All games can also be seen live through the B-2 Network for only $6.00.
