Ak-Sar-Ben Knights Return Pardy To Las Vegas

Omaha, NE - The Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights announced today that they have returned defenseman Adam Pardy on loan to the Las Vegas Wranglers, their affiliate in the ECHL. Pardy will re-join the Wranglers in time for their game tonight against Bakersfield.

Pardy played in two games with the Knights during his most recent recall earning no points and no penalty minutes. Overall, he has appeared in a total of 17 games with the Ak-Sar-Ben Knights during five different stints this season. In 39 games with the Wranglers, the native of Bonavista, Newfoundland has one goal and eleven assists for twelve points and 55 penalty minutes.

Pardy completed his junior career in 2004-05 with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL. He set career highs for games played (69), goals (12), assists (27), points (39) and penalty minutes (163). Pardy was the Flames sixth pick, 173rd overall, in the 2004 Entry Draft.

The Knights return to action on Saturday when they host the Peoria Rivermen at 7:00 p.m. That game also marks Military Appreciation Night presented by Nextel. Complimentary tickets to the game are available at Nextel stores in Omaha, Bellevue and Lincoln and at Nextel's offices on 143rd Street in Omaha. Nextel will set up a phone bank so that families can call loved ones around the globe. The Red Cross will offer its Vidi-Connect services so that families can send video greetings as well. The Knights also will hold a Book Drive for Literacy. Fans who bring a new children's book to the game will receive a voucher that allows them to purchase a ticket in the second or third balcony of the Civic Auditorium for just $10.

Tickets for all home games are available at the Civic Auditorium box office, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The box office is open through the opening face-off on game nights.
