
ESPN Radio To Carry 2005 ECHL All-Star Game

Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies News Release
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. â The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the New York Islanders, are pleased to announce that ESPN Radio 1450AM-WKXW in Atlantic City will carry live the 13th annual Coors Light ECHL All-Star Game beginning at 7PM this Wednesday from the Sovereign Center in Reading.
The broadcast is produced by NHL Radio and will feature a play-by-play announcer, a color commentator and a roving reporter who will be ice level interviewing participants and others involved with the All-Star Game as well as representatives from the American Hockey League and the National Hockey League.
The "Voice of the Bullies" Dan Weiss will be joined in the broadcast booth for the call by Johnstown's John Michael and Augusta's Tom Callahan.
The live play-by-play will be broadcast worldwide on the Internet by Yahoo! Events, marking the seventh consecutive year that Yahoo! has carried the ECHL All-Star Game audio live. The broadcast will be available through on-demand for one year.
Head Coach Matt Thomas and forwards Luke Curtin and Derek Edwardson will represent Atlantic City at the 2005 Coors Light ECHL All-Star Game.
The Bullies and Peoria Rivermen play the second game of a two-game series at 4PM on Sunday at Carver Arena. Catch all the action live on ESPN Radio 1450AM beginning with "Bullies Countdown" at 3:45PM.
Atlantic City returns to Historic Boardwalk Hall after the ECHL All-Star Break for PACK THE HOUSE NIGHT!! The Bullies battle the Trenton Titans at 7:05PM on Friday, January 28 and every seat at Boardwalk Hall is just $6 and the first 4,000 fans through the gates will receive Thunder Sticks courtesy of Benchmark Mortgage.
