Esks Select Seven in CFL Canadian Draft

(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club concluded the 2013 installment of the CFL Canadian Draft with the selection of seven players and a trade with Calgary to acquire the 34th overall pick in exchange for defensive lineman �tienne Légaré.

"If you would have told me at the start of the draft that we would get a first round player with the 10th overall pick, I'd say you were pulling my leg," says Eskimo General Manager Ed Hervey. "I am very pleased with the players taken in today's draft. The areas of concern were addressed. We look forward to seeing what each player brings when they all eventually arrive in Edmonton."
