----- Tonight, the SeaWolves begin a six-game homestand and a three-game series against the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees) at Jerry Uhe Park. The SeaWolves are coming off a weekend series win at Richmond which finished with a 5-1 win on Sunday afternoon at The Diamond. Erie enters play tonight a game under .500, seven games back of first place Akron and 2.5 games behind second place Harrisburg...The SeaWolves have struggled against Trenton in 2012. The Thunder swept Erie in a three-game series at Waterfront Park last week and have already won the season, taking seven of the first nine meetings between the two clubs...Tonight, lefty Ramon Garcia takes the mound in the opener of the Trenton series. He makes his ninth appearance and eighth start. Garcia took a loss in his last start at Trenton on May 30. In the game, he allowed three runs, two earned, on three hits with no walks and five strikeouts in six innings of work. Erie lost the game 3-2...Righty Brett Marshall takes the mound for Trenton making his 12th start and fourth against the SeaWolves. Marshall beat the 'Wolves in his last start on May 31, tossing six shutout innings, allowing six hits with a walk and two strikeouts. Marshall has not allowed a run in his last two starts. He has allowed four runs, three earned, on 14 hits in 17.2 innings against the SeaWolves...The SeaWolves have won 11 of their last 15 home games and are three games above .500 on their home turf.
