Tonight, the SeaWolves take on the Binghamton Mets (New York Mets) in doubleheader action at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the SeaWolves jumped ahead 7-0 after two innings and went on for a 7-1 win in the series opener. The 'Wolves have won three straight over Binghamton and have outscored the Mets 27-5 over those three games... The SeaWolves are a game under .500 entering play today, six games back of first place Harrisburg...Lefty Jay Voss takes the mound for the SeaWolves in game one making his sixth start and second against the Mets. Voss earned his third win in his last start at Reading on June 22. In the game, he allowed a run on four hits with a walk and six strikeouts. It was the third straight start for Voss with six or more strikeouts. Erie won the game 3-1...Lefty Ramon Garcia takes the mound for Erie in game two making his 13th appearance and fourth start. Carson allowed two runs on four hits with six walks and four strikeouts in a no-decision in his last start against Akron.
