
Squirrels and Senators Suspended Tuesday Night

Richmond Flying Squirrels News Release
RICHMOND, VA - The Richmond Flying Squirrels and the Harrisburg Senators were suspended in the middle of the first inning on Tuesday night at The Diamond. The game was suspended due to severe thunderstorms, and ultimately, unplayable grounds.
The game, which was scoreless, will resume on Wednesday night at 7:05 PM in the bottom of the first inning. RHP Daryl Maday (2-5, 3.75) will take over on the hill for the Squirrels against RHP Brad Peacock (8-2, 2.28) for the Senators. The scheduled third game of the series will be made up at The Diamond on Friday, July 22nd as part of a doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning ballgames.
Fans holding tickets for Tuesday night's suspended game can redeem them for tickets to Wednesday's night completion or for any remaining regular season game in the 2011 season based upon availability. For more information, please log on to SquirrelsBaseball.com.
