Tonight, the SeaWolves look for a series win as they take on the Trenton Thunder (New York Yankees) in the rubber game of a three-game series at ARM & HAMMER Park. Last night, Trenton jumped out to an early 5-2 lead and held on for a 6-4 win over the SeaWolves. Erie failed in its attempt to win back-to-back games for the first time in a month... Today, righty Chad Green makes his 12th start and third against the Thunder. Green is 1-1 in his previous two starts against Trenton and has allowed three earned runs in 11.1 innings pitched in those two starts. Green took his second straight loss in his last start against Altoona on June 6. In the game, he allowed six runs, five earned, on nine hits with a walk and a season-high seven strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work. Erie lost the game 6-3... RHP Kyle Haynes takes the mound for Trenton making his 19th appearance, third start and fourth appearance against Erie. Haynes has not allowed a run in five innings pitched (all in relief) against the SeaWolves this season. Haynes took a no-decision in his last appearance, a start, against Harrisburg on June 5. In the game, he allowed a run on five hits with a walk and two strikeouts in four innings.
