LAST GAME: The B-Mets fell, 9-4, against Bowie Wednesday night at Prince George's Stadium. Bowie scored four runs in two separate innings en route to the victory. Gabriel Ynoa allowed right runs in three innings, the most for a B-Met starter this season. Offensively, Josh Rodriguez drove in multiple runs for the second straight game, while Gavin Cecchini added two more hits.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Luis Cessa is making his tenth start of the year and the first of his career against Bowie. He's coming off a loss, allowing just one run in a season-high 7.2 innings pitched against Trenton. He also tied a season-high with eight strikeouts. The righty has allowed one total run in his last two starts, spanning 13.2 innings. His ERA is nearly three runs higher on the road. Cessa is 1-3 in his last four starts, earning a decision in eight of nine outings this year.

BOWIE STARTER: RHP Kevin Gausman is making his ninth career appearance as a Baysox, and his first since 2013, as part of his rehab assignment. Gausman has spent the past three seasons with Baltimore, going 11-12 with a 4.21 ERA in 48 career appearances. He made eight relief appearances with the Orioles this season, after working exclusively as a starter in 2014. He pitched three scoreless innings for Frederick (High-A) in his first rehab appearance. The righty made eight starts with Bowie in 2013, never facing Binghamton, and jumped directly from the Eastern League to the Major Leagues in May of 2013.

FIRST IMPRESSION: Michael Conforto has reached base in all 10 game played with the B-Mets, recording a base hit in eight of them. He has drawn 10 walks through his first 10 games, including atleast one in seven. Conforto reached base in his first 12 games with Brooklyn (SS-A) in 2014, and his first four games with St. Lucie (High-A) to begin this season.

RUBBER MATCHES: The B-Mets are 0-4 in rubber matches this season, getting outscored 30-9 in the four games. The B-Mets suffered a rubber match loss in their past series, 14-5, against Reading.

SERIES WIN: A win Thursday would give Binghamton their first series win since May 8-10, when they took two of three from Akron. Since then, the B-Mets have gone 0-6-2 in their past eight series.

STARTING ROTATION: B-Met starters have allowed seven or more runs in three of their last five starts. Binghamton's starting rotation is 2-11, with a 5.75 ERA in their last 21 starts.

BIG INNINGS: The B-Mets have allowed four runs or more in five different innings over their last three games. Binghamton has allowed three or more runs in atleast one inning in 24 of their first 58 games played.

DÉJÀ VU: Josh Rodriguez has hit a two-run triple in each of his last two games. It's the first time he has tripled in back-to-back games since June 7-8, 2008. His three triples this year are the most since hitting four in 2012. It was also the first time he's had back-to-back multiple RBI games since August 10-11, 2011 when he did it against New Britain, as a member of Altoona.

LAW-LEY LESS: Dustin Lawley is has two hits and 12 strikeouts in his last 22 at-bats (.091). He has struck out in nine of his last 13 at-bats. He has multiple strikeouts in each of his last three starts. Lawley has only played the field once since May 26, 14 games ago.
