LAST DATE WITH THE FLYING SQUIRRELS:The Portland Sea Dogs and Richmond Flying Squirrels meet for the final time this season, closing out a three-game set on Thursday night...Portland has lost a season-high six straight games, and are 1-7 during a 12-game stretch against Richmond and Portland...The 'Dogs are 13 games under .500 for the first time since they were 49-62 on August 1, 2012...RHP Mike Augliera has earned a decision in all 11 starts this season.

RICKY LIKES HIS 2-RUN SINGLES: Richmond's Ricky Oropesa delivered a pair of 2-run singles with the bases loaded, leading the Flying Squirrels to a 5-1 win over the Sea Dogs on Wednesday night...Portland scored their lone run in the sixth inning on a run-scoring ground out by Oscar Tejeda...Joe Biagini (5-3) tossed seven innings on six hits and one run, beating the 'Dogs for the second straight appearance...Luis Diaz (0-5) took the loss, allowing four runs on six hits over 5 IP...Mac Williamson finished 2-for-2, BB, HBP and a run-scoring single in the seventh off Simon Mercedes.
