Today, the SeaWolves look for a series win as they take on the Portland Sea Dogs (Boston Red Sox) in the rubber game of a three-game series at Hadlock Field. Last night, the SeaWolves and Sea Dogs split a doubleheader with Erie taking game one 4-3 and Portland taking game two 6-4...With a win today, the SeaWolves will win the season series over the Sea Dogs for the first time since 2009 when they took four of six in that season series. The two clubs have tied the season series 3-3 in each of the last two seasons... Righty Tommy Collier takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 21st start of the season, 14th with the SeaWolves second against the Sea Dogs. Collier took a no-decision in his last start against Portland on August 5. In the game, he allowed five runs on seven hits with two walks and four strikeouts in five innings of work. Erie lost the game 7-6... RHP Justin Haley takes the mound for the Sea Dogs making his 23rd start of the season and second against the SeaWolves. He took a loss to the SeaWolves in his last start on August 6. In the game, Haley allowed four runs on seven hits with two walks and three strikeouts in 4.1 innings of work. Haley has dropped his last two starts. Haley has made 11 starts at Hadlock Field and has gone 1-8 with a 6.89 ERA.
