Tonight, the SeaWolves return home as they begin a four-game series against the Harrisburg Senators (Washington Nationals) at Jerry Uht Park. Last night, the SeaWolves ran into Steven Matz, down on rehab from New York, who fired six shutout innings. Erie's lone run in the 3-1 loss to Binghamton came in the ninth inning on a Wynton Bernard solo home run. The knock extended Bernard's hitting streak to 12 straight games... Tonight, RHP Michael Fulmer makes his 21st start of the season, fifth with the SeaWolves and second against the Senators. Fulmer beat the Senators on August 9 tossing six shutout frames, allowing five hits with a walk and five strikeouts. Fulmer earned his third win in an Erie uniform in his last start at Akron on August 22. In the game, he allowed a run on two hits with a walk and six strikeouts in six innings of work. Erie won the game 7-1...R RHP Austin Voth takes the mound for the Senators making his 26th appearance, 25th start and second start against Erie. Voth beat the SeaWolves on July 13 allowing a run on five hits with a walk and eight strikeouts. Voth earned a win in his last start against Portland on August 22. In the game, he allowed a run on five hits with a walk and six strikeouts in five innings. Voth has allowed three runs or fewer in 11 consecutive starts.
