ENTERING TONIGHT'S ACTION...

Tonight, the SeaWolves take on the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles) in the fourth game of a five-game series at Prince George's Stadium. Last night, the two clubs split a doubleheader with the Howlers taking the first game, 12-5 and Bowie winning the second, 5-4 on a walkoff home run by Joe Nowicki. Nowicki has now homered twice in the series. Erie looks to even the current series tonight after dropping two of the first three. With last night's split, Erie is now four games behind first place Akron in the EL South. The 'Wolves are one of three teams to reach the 20-win plateau this season. While Erie is tied for the best home record in the EL, their road record sits at .500 at 7-7. Erie is 1-3 at Prince George's Stadium...Tonight, lefty Jon Kibler takes the mound for the 'Wolves, making his seventh start of the season and his fourth against the Baysox. He picked up a win, his first, in his last start against Reading on May 11. In the game, Kibler worked 7.2 innings, allowing a run on seven hits with four walks and two strikeouts. He is 0-1 with a pair of no-decisions against Bowie...Righty Jake Arrieta takes the mound for the Baysox. Arrieta also makes his seventh start of the season and his third against the 'Wolves. He is 1-0 with a no-decision against Erie. In his last start at Akron, Arrieta went five innings, allowing a run on four hits with two walks and six strikeouts....Of the four opponents Erie has faced this season, Bowie is the only one to hold an advantage in the season series.
