All fans will be greeted by Defenders players and Cutter - The Defenders Mascot as well as LUKOIL/Getty representatives who will be handing out schedules and prizes but more importantly Double Play Promotion vouchers which are good for the two reserve tickets for the price of one to any 2009 Connecticut Defenders home game.
"LUKOIL/Getty is great supporter of Defenders baseball and $.99 cent gas can't be beat," said Defenders General Manager Charlie Dowd. "With the tough economic times, Dodd Stadium is the best value for families to satisfy their entertainment needs and the Double Play Promotion is just another way the Defenders and LUKOIL/Getty are trying to help fans save a buck."
If fans aren't in the Norwich area on Tuesday from 8-10:00am they can still get a chance to win gas courtesy of LUKOIL/Getty all season long at Dodd Stadium by signing up to participate in LUKOIL/Getty in-between inning "Fill-up Contest," where two teams of two compete for free gas on the field.
