The Bowie Baysox made three roster moves this morning:

IF Melvin Dorta transferred to AAA Norfolk from AA Bowie

IF Buck Britton transferred to AA Bowie from extended spring training

IF Paco Figueroa placed on the disabled list, retroactive to 5/15

Dorta has hit .327 in 31 games for the Baysox with eight doubles, one home run and 12 RBI. He played 61 games with AAA Columbus in 2007.

Britton hit .289 in 47 games with Bluefield last year and was tied for the team lead with a .372 OBP.

Figueroa is hitting .308 in 28 games with the Baysox this season. He will be eligible to come off the disabled list on Friday, May 22.

Figueroa and Dorta are currently tied for the team lead in runs scored, with 20.
