Tonight, the Erie SeaWolves look to snap a six-game losing streak to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies in game two of a four-game series at NYSEG Stadium. In last night's doubleheader, the 'Wolves got two quality starts from Alex Faedo and Logan Shore, but mustered just one combined run on eight hits (.148 average), falling 2-1 in game one and 3-0 in game two. Only the 3-0 loss in game two counted towards the second half standings. Tim Adelman takes the hill and is making his first career start in an Erie uniform. After having his contract selected on May 11 by Detroit from the Long Island Ducks (Atlantic League), the right-hander earned a 3-2 record with a 3.03 ERA in seven starts with Triple-A Toledo. Tommy Wilson goes for Binghamton and is coming off of a win in his last start on June 20 at New Hampshire. The right-hander surrendered two runs, one earned, on four hits in six innings. The 23-year old was promoted to Binghamton on May 24 from Class-A St. Lucie after posting a 2.01 ERA and 4-2 record in 44.2 innings (eight starts). Wilson was a 19th round selection by the New York Mets in 2018 out of Cal State Fullerton.
