Tonight, the SeaWolves look to snap a two-game slide and avoid matching their longest losing streak of the season as they take on the Binghamton Mets (New York Mets) in the middle game of a three-game series at NYSEG Stadium. Last night, the SeaWolves struggled with runners on base as they dropped the series opener to the Mets 4-3. Erie went just 2-for-9 with runners in scoring position and left 13 on base in the loss...Righty Derek Hankins takes the mound for Erie making his third start and second in as many starts against the Mets. Hankins earned his first win in his last start against Binghamton on April 15. In the game, he allowed a run on seven hits with two walks and a strikeout in six innings of work. Erie won the game 5-1...RHP Matt Koch makes his third start and second straight against the SeaWolves. Koch took a loss in his last start against Erie on April 15. In the game, he allowed five runs on eight hits with a walk and three strikeouts in 4.2 innings of work. Koch has not worked more than 4.2 innings in each of his first two starts for the Mets.
