CURVE, Pa. - The Curve and Harrisburg Senators ended up with a split of the two games played on Tuesday night at Peoples Natural Gas Field. In the completion of Monday night's suspended game, Harrisburg battled back to take a, 6-3, win while the Curve bested the 'Sens in game two, 2-1.

Altoona carried the lead when the first game resumed on Tuesday. They added one courtesy of Willy Garcia in the sixth and things seemed like they were going the Curve's way. However, two unearned runs off John Kuchno in the seventh and three runs off Josh Smith (0-2) in the ninth helped Harrisburg prevail.

In the second game, Jason Creasy (1-0) allowed a first-inning run but was terrific after the rest of the way. He went on to throw six innings (his longest start of the year) and permit just the one run while striking out a season-best five.

Neither team would score again in the second game until the bottom of the fifth when Sebastian Valle took Paolo Espino (0-2) deep to left for his first home run of the season. It was also the first home run for any Curve player at home this year and just the team's third overall homer so far this season.

Creasy came back out for the last of the sixth and grabbed the shutdown inning the Curve were in search of. Collin Balester tossed the seventh to convert his second save of the 2015 campaign.

Altoona (7-5) will search for its second-straight series win with a win in the 6 p.m. homestand finale on Wednesday night. It will be a Wing Wednesday at the ballpark with .50-cent wings on special (min. 6) throughout the game. Wednesday night's game also serves as our first Wine Wednesday of the year with specials on Moscato and Merlot. Fans can also purchase four tickets, four hot dogs and four regular sodas for $39.

On the hill for the Curve in the finale will be Pirates' top prospect Tyler Glasnow (1-0, 0.82). He'll be opposed by former Curve RHP and current 'Sens hurler Tim Alderson (0-0, 4.22).

Airtime on ESPN Radio 1430, WVAM and the Curve Radio Network is scheduled for 5:45 p.m. For tickets and more information, visit AltoonaCurve.com, call 877.99.CURVE or stop by the box office at PNG Field.
