Energy Acquire Guard Mike Efevberha

DES MOINES, IA Dec 30, 2011- The 2011 NBA D-League Champion Iowa Energy have acquired guard Mike Efevberha, who played with the Energy during their inaugural season (2007-2008). Efevberha, who most recently played in Switzerland, will be in uniform tonight for the 1st place Energy.

A 6'4" wing player, Efevberha averaged 15.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 37 games for the Energy in 2007-2008 before being traded to Anaheim in a three-team deal that brought Adam Haluska to Des Moines. Efevberha was also the captain of the Nigerian national team during the 2009 African Championships, where he averaged 17.4 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.

To make space on the roster, the Energy released guard Jake Anderson due to injury, meaning the Energy will retain Anderon's rights.
