FRISCO, Texas, Dec. 30, 2011 - Dwight Buycks and Jerome Dyson scored a game-high 20 points and Marcus Lewis posted 12 points and 25 rebounds for his sixth double-double of the season, but the Tulsa 66ers (7-6) fell to the Texas Legends (5-9) by a 96-87 final Friday night on the road inside Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco.
Lewis' 25 rebounds against the Legends marked a 66ers single-game record. The forward also recorded six assists and two steals. Also scoring in double figures for the 66ers was Billy Rush with 10 points.
Tulsa's defense forced 21 Texas turnovers and created 11 steals, led by Dyson with four thefts.
Leading the way for Texas was Chris Roberts with 19 points and seven rebounds.
The 66ers will face the Legends again in their next contest on Thursday, Jan. 5, at home inside the Tulsa Convention Center. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT.
