Riding another stellar pitching performance, El Trueno de Trenton notched a series victory with a 2-1 win over the Harrisburg Senators on Saturday night in front of a crowd of 7,247 at ARM & HAMMER Park.

Garrett Whitlock (3-1) held Harrisburg to one run over six innings of work for El Trueno (32-19), striking out five and allowing only five hits in the victory, which clinched a series win.

Among the seven thousand plus in attendance was Charles Frost of Yardley, Pennsylvania, the ten millionth fan in franchise history.

Hoy Jun Park led off the bottom of the first inning with an infield single and after stealing second base, scored the game's first run on a Ben Ruta single to right field. Mandy Alvarez extended El Trueno lead to 2-0 on a solo home run to left-center in the fourth.

The Senators (34-21) scored their only run in the top of the fifth inning on an RBI-single by Adrian Sanchez. Starter Wil Crowe (5-4) took the loss despite holding El Trueno to two runs across seven innings.

Trueno right-hander Will Carter pitched two scoreless innings in relief of Whitlock, bridging the gap to Daniel Alvarez, who worked around a one-out single in the ninth to earn the save.

Brandon Wagner went 0-for-4 in the game for El Trueno, ending his season-high on-base streak at 10 games.
