- Dayton has won the last three meetings and is 76-45-19 all-time against
Johnstown, including 7-2-1 in 2007-08.
- Johnstown ranks fourth in the ECHL on the power play at home with 26.3
percent (5-for-19).
- Defenseman Joe
Van Culin has two assists in one game for the Bombers.

Garlock led the Chiefs against Dayton with seven assists and 11 points
in 2007-08.
South Carolina Stingrays (1-0-0) and Florida Everblades
(1-1-0) 7:30 p.m. ET
- Florida was 3-1-1 at home against South Carolina in 2007-08 and is
42-24-11 overall against the Stingrays.
- South Carolina leads the ECHL on the power play with 60.0 percent
(3-for-5).
- Rookie defenseman Aaron
Brocklehurst scored a goal for the Everblades on Oct. 17 in a 6-3 win
over Charlotte.
- Travis
Morin led the Stingrays against Florida with seven assists and nine
points in 2007-08.

- This will be the first meeting between these two teams.

Beauregard leads the Cyclones against Wheeling with three goals and

Charlotte Checkers (1-1-0) at Mississippi Sea Wolves

- Mississippi was 2-1-0 at home against Charlotte in 2007-08 and is 6-7-0
overall against the Checkers.
- Charlotte ranks second in the ECHL on the penalty kill on the road with
88.9 percent (16-for-18).

Hall leads the Sea Wolves with three assists and is tied for the team
lead with three points.

- The ECHL celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2007-08 and is the
third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National
Hockey League and the American Hockey League.
- ECHL began in 1988-89 with five teams in four states and has grown to be
a coast-to-coast league with 23 teams playing 828 games in 16 states and
British Columbia in 2008-09.
- The Reading Royals, the City of Reading and the Sovereign Center will

NHL Coach of the Year in 2007-08 becoming the first former ECHL coach
to receive the award. Laviolette, who began his coaching career with the
Wheeling Nailers, led Carolina Hurricanes to the Stanley Cup in 2006.
- There are 15 assistant coaches in the NHL who were players or coaches in
the ECHL.
- There are 18 former ECHL officials scheduled to work as part of the NHL
