Don't forget to vote for Condors hockey in the Bakersfield Californian's annual "Best of Kern County" readers' choice poll. Here are a few hints, Best Family Attraction (#85) and Best Local Website (#95) as well as Best Customer Service (#13), Best Annual Event (#87) (with regard to Teddy Bear Toss), Best Place to Dance (#88), and Best Place to Have a Birthday (#97).

Tuesday, March 10:
Tune in to 29 Eyewitness News at 8 a.m. to catch Condors F Andrew Ianiero as he discusses Tip-A-Condor charity dinner and auction, slated for later that day as well as the team's current hot streak.
Condors players will serve as the evening's waiters and entertainment for the 9th annual Tip-A-Condor. The charity dinner at the Crystal Palace will feature dinner and drinks served by the Condors players, on stage singing and dancing, also by the Condors, as well as live and silent auctions. Proceeds benefit the Kern County Shrine Club. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children (12-and-under), and can be purchased at the Crystal Palace Box Office, Condors Front Office and at all the Condors home games. Doors open at 5 p.m. (first come, first seated), dinner is served at 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, March 11: Wake up early to catch Condors D Donny Grover on KGET-TV 17 at 5:50 a.m. Grover will be discussing the team and the #10 Matt Pope Youth Jersey Giveaway on Friday night.
Thursday, March 12:
Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd will visit the students at Standard Elementary School from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The Colonel will serve as a celebrity reader, during the school's Read Across America Day. Standard Elementary is located at 115 E. Minner Avenue.
Condors F Brett Pilkington will visit the students at Owens Primary School, located at 815 Potomac Avenue, starting at 1:30 p.m. Pilkington will speak about his life, education and hockey career to the students, who are learning about writing biographies. The students will then write a biography about Pilkington, as part of the assignment.
Condors D Jay Langager will serve as the reader at Beardsley School's Family Reading Night. Beginning at 6 p.m., Langager will help instill a love for family reading when he reads for the monthly reading session. Beardsley is located at 1001 Roberts Lane.
The Condors Coach's Show will air on ESPN Radio 1230 from 5 to 6 p.m. live from the Hungry Hunter at 3580 Rosedale Hwy. The Coach's Show this week will feature RW Mike Wirll and Head Coach Marty Raymond, and is hosted by the "Voice of the Condors," Kevin Bartl. Fans who attend the show are entered in the monthly drawing for a free Condors jersey.
Friday, March 13: The Condors take on the Utah Grizzles for #10 Matt Pope Youth Jersey Giveaway. The first 2,000 children, 12-and-under, will receive a replica youth jersey of the Condors rookie sniper, sponsored by KGET-TV 17, La Preciosa 105.3 & McDonald's. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.
Saturday, March 14: The Condors play host to the Utah Grizzles for the 'What Could Have Been' Jersey Off Our Backs Raffle & Auction, sponsored by KUZZ 107.9 and Bud Light. Game-worn Bakersfield Brontos jerseys will be auctioned off after the game and five jerseys will be raffled off for free. The Brontos was a finalist for the team name along with the "Condors" 11 years ago when the team was renamed. All proceeds from the jersey auction will be donated to Petroleum Shrine Club. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.
Condors exclusive Kids Club Party March 30:
The Condors end-of-the-season Kids Club Party with the Condors players will be held on Monday, March 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rollerama West, located at 7850 Brimhall Road. The party is open to Kids Club members and their parents to meet and skate with the Condors. Skate rental along with pizza and soda will be free to all the members of the coolest club in town.
Condors out for Blood:
The Condors have teamed up with Houchin Blood Bank for their month-long blood drive, which is underway now through March 25. This life-saving campaign officially began March 1 at the two Houchin Community Blood Banks, located at 5901 Truxtun Ave. and 2600 G St.
All participants who donate blood this month at either of the two locations will receive $1 admission to the Condors game on Wednesday, March 25, courtesy of KUZZ 107.9. Also, all March donors will be entered into a drawing for great Condors prizes, including a team autographed Condors jersey, the opportunity to drop the ceremonial first puck at a future Condors game and the chance to sit in "The Best Seat in the House," courtesy of R & D Leather Furniture, at the March 25 game.

Condors help Kick Off NW Baseball:
On Saturday, March 7, Condors mascot Colonel Claw'd with the Condors bounce house, inflatable slapshot and prize wheel in tow, visited the future MLBers of Northwest Baseball for their season kick off. Northwest Baseball has partnered with the Condors to raise funds for their league. The Condors offer a variety of fundraising methods for local nonprofit and educational groups. Individual game tickets are on sale and may be purchased through the Rabobank Arena Box Office, which is open from 10am - 6pm Monday through Friday and 10am - 4pm on Saturday with extended hours on game days.
