Utah's Jensen Suspended Three Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has suspended Utah defenseman Jim Jensen for three games and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #485 at Phoenix on Mar. 8.

Jensen was assessed a major penalty for elbowing and a Game Misconduct at 14:24 of the third period.

Jensen is suspended and fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Jensen will miss Utah's games vs. Idaho (Mar. 11), at Bakersfield (Mar. 13 and 14).
