Las Vegas' Makway Suspended One Game, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has suspended Las Vegas defenseman Steve Makway for one game and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions at the conclusion of ECHL Game #685 at Alaska on Mar. 8.

Makway is suspended and fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Makway will miss Las Vegas' game vs. Idaho (Mar. 13).
