Cincinnati's McElroy Suspended Two Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has suspended Cincinnati defenseman T.J. McElroy for two games and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #681 at Reading on Mar. 7.

McElroy was assessed a Game Misconduct under Rule 70.4 Leaving the Penalty Bench at the conclusion of the first period.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

McElroy will miss Cincinnati's game at Johnstown (Mar. 13) and at Trenton (Mar. 15).
