
Earthquakes Return to Action Tonight vs. Seattle

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes will play in their first match of the MLS is Back Tournament tonight vs. Seattle Sounders FC, with kickoff scheduled for 6 p.m. PT. The match takes place at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla. and will be broadcast live on ESPN, KNBR 1050 and 1370 KZSF.
Tonight's match marks the first for any professional sports team in the Bay Area since March. Each of the three group stage matches will count towards the regular-season standings and there is also a $1.1 million prize pool and spot in the 2021 Concacaf Champions League at stake.
The Earthquakes are hosting free drive-in viewing parties at Earthquakes Stadium in San Jose for each of their three group stage matches. Tonight's event will feature viewing parties at two locations: one in the 7UP Epicenter inside the stadium facing the backside of the large videoboard, and one in the nearby Tailgate Lot with a giant display and FM signal for audio. While free, fans must have previously RSVP'd due to limited availability.
