San Jose Earthquakes News Release

SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes and Lux Bus America have partnered to offer two free charter buses for fans traveling to Avaya Stadium from Downtown San Jose on match days, starting Saturday, March 31 when the Quakes host David Villa and NYCFC.

The buses will loop from the corner of St. John and Market Street near San Pedro Square to the corner of Earthquakes Way and Coleman Ave., effectively replacing VTA's discontinued Line 231. The buses will be complimentary for all riders with a game ticket.

"We're excited to offer these charter buses every game day to make getting to the stadium easy as ever," said Earthquakes Chief Operating Officer Jared Shawlee. "Lux Bus America stepped forward and helped us add a fast, comfortable transportation option for those coming from the popular city center."

Fans can also use this service to return to Downtown San Jose by boarding the buses on Earthquakes Way outside of the stadium's main gate after the final whistle.
