ATLANTA - Atlanta United returns to Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday, March 17, to face Vancouver Whitecaps FC. The match is scheduled to kick-off at 7:30 p.m. EST and will be televised on FOX Sports South.
Atlanta United defeated D.C. United 3-1 in front of an MLS-record crowd of 72,035 fans on Sunday, March 11, in the team's 2018 home opener at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Josef Martinez, Miguel AlmirÃ"n and Tito Villalba each added a goal while Darren Mattocks scored D.C.'s only goal.
Vancouver is coming off a 2-1 road victory at Houston on Saturday, March 10. Offseason acquisition Kei Kamara converted a penalty kick for the 100th goal of his MLS career. Houston's Alberth Elis tied the game before halftime, but Vancouver's Brek Shea scored the game-winner to earn Vancouver's second-straight win.
