FC Dallas Loans Jordan Cano to OKC Energy FC

FRISCO, Texas - FC Dallas has loaned Homegrown center back Jordan Cano to its USL affiliate, OKC Energy FC.

Cano is eligible to be recalled by FC Dallas at any point this season. OKC Energy FC opens its 2018 season vs. Tulsa Roughnecks FC tomorrow, Saturday, March 17 (7 PM), at Taft Stadium in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Cano, 22, signed with FC Dallas as its 21st Homegrown player on Jan. 11, 2018. A native of Plano, Texas, Cano started 75 games for SMU from 2014 to 2017. He was named the American Athletic Conference Defender of the Year in 2017.

A member of Major League Soccer since its inception in 1996, FC Dallas is owned and operated by Hunt Sports Group. The professional team plays its regular season from March to October at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas. FC Dallas won the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and MLS Supporters' Shield in 2016.
