SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes (3-7-4; 13 pts.) host Houston Dynamo FC (3-4-7; 16 pts.) at PayPal Park tonight at 7:00 p.m. PT. The match will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Bay Area Plus, KNBR 1050 and 1370 KZSF. Tonight's match is the Quakes' first at PayPal Park since June 26.
San Jose is currently on a three-match unbeaten streak after earning three consecutive road draws against three of the top seven teams in the Western Conference. The Quakes hold a 9-14-3 all-time record against Houston, including a 7-4-2 record at home. The Quakes are 3-1-1 against Houston in their last five meetings at home.
Dynamo FC currently sits in ninth place in the Western Conference standings, only three points ahead of San Jose. The Texas side is currently winless in their last seven matches (0-2-5), most recently earning a scoreless draw against Vancouver Whitecaps FC on July 20.
