Dylan Hunter Returns To AHL

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley announced today that forward Dylan Hunter has been loaned to the AHL's Rochester Americans.

Hunter departs Utah tied for 12th in the league in scoring with ten goals and 13 assists, while tied for the league lead overall with six power-play goals and also being tied for the Utah lead with nine multiple-point games.

The 24-year-old, who takes 183 games of AHL experience back to Rochester, spent two seasons there playing in 137 games from 2006-2008 and tallying 28 goals and 47 assists for 65 points. Hunter had 20 goals for the Amerks during the 2007-2008 season. He was also a 2004 draft pick of the Buffalo Sabres and began this year with the AHL's Houston Aeros, playing in one game before signing with Utah.

Hunter becomes the seventh Utah player in the first month and a half of the season to be promoted to the American Hockey League: joining J.D. Watt, Matt Clarke, Josh Meyers, Ryan Kinasewich, James Sixsmith and Vic Bartley.

Utah returns to action Friday and Saturday in Bakersfield. Face-off both evenings is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.

The Grizzlies are back at the E-Center Friday, December 18 and Saturday, December 19 when they will welcome in Bakersfield. Face-off both evenings is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
