
Elmira's Connolly Fined
December 9, 2009 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release
PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has fined Elmira forward Brendan Connolly an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #217 at South Carolina on Dec. 6.
Connolly was assessed a Game Misconduct for Spearing in the third period.
He is fined under Rule 29 Supplemental Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
