The Bulls play the finale of their three-game set against the Louisville Bats in the third and final series of a season-long 10-game homestand. Durham is 3-6 over the first nine games of the homestand, is 4-9 over its last 13 games, is 6-14 over its last 20, and is just 8-16 since the All-Star break. The Bulls have dropped 32 of their last 48 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 10.5-game deficit. Louisville - the Cincinnati Reds' top affiliate - 3-3 over the first six games of a seven-game road trip to Norfolk and Durham, but is still 8-4 over its last 12.
