Dayton Dragons News Release

DAYTON, OH - The Dayton Dragons today announced that single-game playoff tickets will be made available for purchase by the general public starting Wednesday, August 24 at 10: 00 a.m. All tickets will cost just $5.00.

"We wanted to reward the very best fans in all of sports with a great offer for the playoffs - so we reduced ticket prices to just $5.00.", said Dragons president Robert Murphy. "This could be a storybook year for the Dragons and our community. First, the sellout streak, then, secondly, a run at the Midwest League Championship. That would be a great finish to a wonderful season."

If the team qualifies for the postseason - the Dragons have a six-game lead with 18 games to play - the first home playoff game at Fifth Third Field would be held on Wednesday, September 7 at 7:00 p.m. The opponent for the Dragons has yet to be determined, but will be either the Lansing Lugnuts (Toronto Blue Jays) or the Bowling Green Hot Rods (Tampa Bay Rays).
