Today's Game: The Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Loons (affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers) in a doubleheader.

Season Series: Dayton 2, Great Lakes 1. Streaks: Dayton has won four of the last five games overall and 13 of the last 15 at home.

Last Game: Last night's game was postponed due to rain. Both teams were rained-out Sunday and had a scheduled off-day on Monday.

Today's First Game Dragons Starting Pitcher: Daniel Corcino makes his eighth start in game one. Corcino was the winning pitcher Tuesday, May 12 vs. Lake County (5.2 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 6 SO) and has won his last five starts (27.2 IP, 4 ER, 1.30 ERA). Corcino is a 20-year-old native of the Dominican Republic who entered the 2011 season rated as the #15 prospect in Reds organization by Baseball America. Corcino has drawn comparisons to fellow Dominican and former Dragon Johnny Cueto because of a fastball that can get into the mid 90 mph range and sub-six foot frame. He began the '10 season with Billings and made nine starts, going 1-3, 3.40. He joined the Dragons on August 6 and made six starts with Dayton, going 1-1, 4.31.

Today's Second Game Dragons Starting Pitcher: Daniel Tuttle makes his seventh start of the season tonight. In his last start last Wednesday vs. Lake County, Tuttle earned the win (6.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 7 SO). Tuttle is listed as 31st best prospect in Reds organization by Baseball America entering 2011 season. He spent 2010 season with Billings (5-3, 4.32, 13 GS). Tuttle was a fifth round draft pick by the Reds in 2009 out of Randleman (N.C.) High School. Prior to being drafted by the Reds, he pitched in the Aflac All-American Game at Dodger Stadium (the nation's premier high school baseball all-star game). Tuttle was rated as the # 3 high school prospect in the state of North Carolina entering the 2009 draft by Perfect Game USA. Tuttle was an outstanding two-way player in high school who had committed to North Carolina State as a shortstop/pitcher before signing with Reds.

Manager: Delino DeShields is in his first season with the Dragons and third year in the Reds organization. He served as the manager of the Billings Mustangs in the Pioneer League in 2010, leading the club to a record of 38-37. As a player, DeShields spent 13 years in the Major Leagues from 1990-2002 with the Expos, Dodgers, Orioles, Cardinals, and Cubs. He finished in the top three in the league in stolen bases six times and is 46th on the all-time career list with 463. DeShields hit .290 or higher five times. DeShields finished second in the National League Rookie of the Year voting in 1990.
