Dragons Announce Numerous Roster Moves

Dayton, Ohio-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster moves today:

Second baseman Yen-Wen Kuo (pronounced KWO) and outfielder Tony Brown have been promoted to Dayton from Billings of the Pioneer League.

Second baseman Cody Puckett and outfielder Stephen Chapman have been promoted from Dayton to Sarasota of the Florida State League.

Third baseman Frank Pfister (FIST-er) has been assigned to Billings from Dayton.

The Dragons also officially removed first baseman Joey Votto from the roster. Votto played in the Dragons last game on Sunday. He was activated by the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday.

The Dragons roster currently stands at 24 players, which is one below the Midwest League limit. Relief pitcher Aguido Gonzalez is expected to be activated from the disabled list within the next couple of days to fill the vacancy.
