The Tigers today announced the contract of righthanded pitcher Matt Ginter has been outrighted to Triple A Toledo and the club has purchased the contract of righthanded pitcher Sean Douglass from Toledo. Douglass posted a 9-1 record and 2.87 ERA (81.2IP/26ER) in 14 starts for the Mud Hens and is scheduled to start on Saturday night at Arizona.
Douglass departs the International League tied for second with nine wins and a 2.87 ERA and fourth with 76 strikeouts. Ginter made 10 appearances for the Tigers this season, posting a 5.47 ERA (24.2IP/15ER).
