MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach, Rich Seeley, announced today that goaltender, Doug Carr, has been loaned to the Ontario Reign (AHL).

Carr, 26, played in 13 games with the Monarchs this season, earning a 6-3-0-4 record while posting a 2.45 GAA and a 0.928 save percentage. Prior to losing his last two starts, Carr went without a regulation loss since December 13, going 5-0-0-3 in that span.

The 6-foot-2, 201-pound Hanover, Mass. native signed with the Monarchs on Dec. 8, 2015, after beginning the 2015-16 season with the Albany Devils (AHL). Since graduating from UMass-Lowell (H-East), Carr has spent two seasons as a professional, playing with the Abbotsford Heat (AHL), Devils, Adirondack Flames (AHL) and Colorado Eagles (ECHL).

The Monarchs are back in action Sunday, Feb. 14 (3 p.m.) when they host the Wheeling Nailers at the Verizon Wireless Arena for a Valentine's Day matinee.
