Playoff Picture

The Mallards are among a group of teams battling for Western Conference playoff berths. Tulsa is tied with the Indy Fuel for sixth place.

On the Road

Last Saturday night's loss kicked off a four game road trip for the Mallards, who meet the Oilers again tomorrow night and visit Wichita next Tuesday. The Mallards are 0-4-2 in their last six away games. They last won on the road when they defeated the IceMen 2-1 in Evansville on January 16.

Top Trio

A member of the line of Brassart, Matt Carey and Kevin Henderson has scored in each of the Mallards' last six games. Carey has eight points (three goals and five assists) over those six contests while Brassart is on a six-game point-scoring streak (2-4-6) and Henderson is in the midst of a five-game point-scoring streak (1-4-5).

Special Teams

The Mallards went 8-for-8 on the penalty kill last week and have now killed off 14 of their opponents' last 15 power plays and 28 of their foes' last 30 man advantages. They are tied for third in the ECHL penalty killing (86.8 percent). The Mallards are tied for sixteenth on the power play (16.4 percent).
