MAGNIFYING THE MATCHUP
The Jackals wrap up their season-long six game road trip with three games, in three nights, in Florida, beginning with two games against the Everblades. Florida leads the Eastern Conference with 63 points and a 31-14-1 record, including a 15-7-0 record at home. Matt Willows leads the Everblades with 16 goals, 25 assists, and 41 points, while Anthony Peters has a record of 18-10-1 with a 2.14 goals-against-average, good for seventh in the ECHL. This will mark the only two meetings of the regular season between Elmira and Florida. Last season, the Jackals lost three of four meetings to the Everblades, including the only matchup between the teams at Germain Arena. The Jackals have an all-time record of 8-11-0 against Florida. While regular season meetings have not been frequent, the Everblades are the most frequently played opponent for the Jackals in postseason play, as Florida ended Elmira's season in 2010, 2012, and 2013.
